I’m a proud wife and mama to two amazing boys: Colton, who’s 12, and Henry (aka Hank), my 3-year-old wild card. They couldn’t be more different if they tried — but they do share one thing in common: keeping me on my toes 24/7! Oh, and I can’t forget Ruby, my gentle giant Saint Bernard with the biggest heart.
My life is a whirlwind of boy chaos, family love, and all the in-between moments. If you don’t spot me at the grocery store, I’m probably juggling playdates, after-school activities, cleaning the house (yep, 5 to 6 times a day), and working full-time. Yep, I also rock a 9-to-5 job that I genuinely love — because multitasking is basically my superpower! Through all the hustle, I’m soaking up the sweet, messy, beautiful moments as they come.
Here’s the Scoop:
I started Zzzilly Goose Sleep Consulting, LLC because I wanted to give other families the same magic I lucked into—real sleep! It took me forever (and probably way too many late-night Googling sessions) to finally hire a sleep consultant. Trusting someone with bedtime felt like handing over the last cookie… a huge deal! But once I found the right one, I was hooked. Now I get to help tired parents everywhere say goodbye to sleepless nights (and hello to slightly less zombie-like mornings)!
Henry, my youngest, started out as a total dream baby — slept like a champ, ate like one too, and life felt oddly peaceful. Then the 4-month sleep regression hit… and suddenly I became his full-time, on-call sleep prop. He’d only fall asleep if I did the whole routine, and since I was on maternity leave, it just felt easier to handle it myself. My husband tried, bless him, but it usually ended with both of us more awake than before.
Before I knew it, I was doing every nap, bedtime, night waking, and feeding — for almost three years. I was sleep-deprived, working full time, and running purely on caffeine and desperation. Sleepovers? Ha! Naps with anyone else? Not a chance. I told myself it would eventually get better… until I realized he had trained me. And let me tell you — those 4 AM wakeups? Straight from the pits of parenting.
I kept telling my husband, “Just one more month… if Henry’s not sleeping better by then, we’ll hire someone.” Spoiler alert: I said that for about six months. Meanwhile, Henry was waking up 3–4 times a night, had a PhD in bedtime stalling, and was suddenly dealing with nightmares. I was DONE. Mentally, physically, emotionally — toast.
So I caved and finally hired a Sleep Consultant… and let me tell you, she was the magic sauce. Within four days, he was falling asleep without me glued to his side, staying in bed, and actually sleeping through most of the night. It felt like witchcraft — the good kind.
Best. Decision. Ever.
Now Henry goes to bed without a fuss, sleeps all night like a pro, and wakes up happy (and so do I… most days).
